Shri Sadguru Sankalp Netra Chikitsalaya (SSNC) The 108 bedded Shri Sadguru Sankalp Netra Chikitsalaya (SSNC) was established in 2004 to provide comprehensive eye care services to the people. Since its initiation the facilities at SSNC has been upgraded from time to time. Today, quality eye care services are available to the poor section of the population from in and around Sadguru Nagar. The year round eye care services are available to the people of seven districts namely, Guna, Vidisha, Ashok Nagar, Raisen, Bhopal and Rajgarh of Madhya Pradesh and Jhalawad district of Rajasthan.
Shri Sadguru Sankalp Netra Chikitsalaya has been the pioneer institute providing quality eye care services to the people on regular basis. The modern day facilities like Semi-Private Wards, Private Wards, and Executive Ward (with AC) are being made available to the patients from different economic strata. Clinical procedures such as Cataract surgeries (both SICS and Phacoemulsification) Foldable Lens (Silicon/Acrylic) Implantation; YAG Capsulotomy; Perimetry; A-B Scan etc. are being performed at the SSNC. Treatment for the diseases pertaining to Retina is being addressed by a Retina Specialist. |

Range of Services Offered at SSC
Surgical interventions in the form of SICS and Phacoemulsification for Cataract is being promoted at SSNC. More than 90% of the surgeries performed today at the base hospital are for Cataract. Different packages for Cataract surgeries are today available for patients to make service accessible to all irrespective the paying capacity. |

In
order to make the primary eye care services easily available to the rural
communities where there are almost no quality eye care service provider, SNC
embarked on the concept of Vision Centers (VCs). Vision Centers, in
concurrence with the Vision 2020 action plan are mini eye-care rural service
centers with the basic objective of making primary eye care services
available to the rural populace. At present SSNC runs 03 Vision Centers
(one each in the district Vidisha, Rajgarh and Guna) in the states of
Madhya Pradesh. |
